Site Manager – Retail Fit Out – Andover

Our client is a Main Contractor with a proven track record of nationwide coverage of various projects. Specialising in MEP install, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Andover on a Retail Fit Out project for 5 months.

Responsibilities

•    Day-to-Day Site Management
Take full responsibility for the daily management of site activities on a fast-paced retail fit-out project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
•    Programme & Subcontractor Coordination
Manage subcontractors and trades on site, coordinating sequencing, access, and logistics to achieve key milestones within a tight fit-out programme.
•    Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce site health and safety standards, conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations.
•    Quality Control & Defect Management
Monitor workmanship across all trades, carry out snagging and quality inspections, and ensure defects are closed out efficiently in line with client expectations.
•    Client & Stakeholder Liaison
Act as the on-site point of contact for the client, consultants, and suppliers, providing regular progress updates and supporting handover at project completion.

Requirements

Must hold Asbestos, SMSTS and First Aid certificates
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with experience on retail fit out projects or similar
Must be based within a commutable distance of Andover and be able to travel to site 5 days a week

Benefits

£300 - £320 a day
