A top-tier Irish main contractor—renowned for delivering high-quality, large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a major housing project in Cork.

You will manage day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, oversee trades, and ensure the project remains on programme and compliant with all regulations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations across multiple housing units
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour
• Drive construction progress, ensuring programme targets are achieved
• Maintain strict compliance with health & safety standards
• Manage quality control, snagging, inspections & BCAR documentation
• Oversee materials, logistics, deliveries and site planning
• Resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement
• Report progress to the Project Manager and senior leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman
• Strong background in residential / housing construction
• Proven experience managing multi-unit developments
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations & BCAR
• Ability to read drawings, manage subcontractors and drive progress
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
