Senior Site Engineer – Infrastructure – West Yorkshire

Our client is a €1.5bn turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre division, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team in West Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

•    Setting Out and Survey Control:
Lead all setting out activities on site using GPS, total station, and other survey equipment to ensure precise alignment of civil and structural works in accordance with design specifications and project tolerances.
•    Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement and monitor the project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all CSA works meet required standards, specifications, and are supported by accurate and complete QA documentation.
•    Subcontractor Coordination and Supervision:
Act as the primary site interface for CSA subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of scope, sequencing, and safety requirements while tracking daily progress against programme targets.
•    Technical Support and Issue Resolution:
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, resolving on-site challenges through coordination with design engineers and prompt response to RFIs and design queries.
•    Progress Reporting and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate site records including as-builts, redline drawings, and daily progress logs, while contributing to weekly reporting on work progress, quality status, and resource usage.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 6+ years’ post qualification experience in a similar field
Must have 3+ years’ experience on similar projects

Benefits

£70,000 - £75,000 per annum + Car/Car Allowance + Package
