Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking complex new build projects across Northern & Central Europe including Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres and Logistics projects. This organisation undertakes a full turnkey solution constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, civils, structures / super-structure, M&E installation, fit out and handover. Company turnover is currently €1bn and they continue to steadily year-on-year As they expand their footprint in the Netherlands they are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a €140m high-rise, mixed-use development in central Amsterdam. This landmark project combines commercial, residential, and retail space across multiple high-rise towers – a true centrepiece for urban regeneration in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities. As the Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful execution of the project, reporting directly to the Regional Director. You will manage a multidisciplinary project team and drive the construction phase through to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Requirements What We Offer
• Lead the delivery of a high-rise, mixed-use scheme from construction through to handover
• Manage all aspects of project performance: time, cost, quality, and safety
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee procurement strategy, subcontractor performance, and contract compliance
• Implement project controls, reporting, and risk management strategies
• Lead and mentor a high-performing site team
• 10+ years’ experience in large-scale building construction, with at least 3 years in a senior project leadership role
• Proven experience delivering high-rise or complex mixed-use projects over €100M
• Strong knowledge of Dutch or EU construction regulations and permitting processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage
• Eligible to work in the EU
