A leading European engineering contractor delivering some of the continent’s largest hyperscale data centres is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a €40M–€60M mission-critical project in Düsseldorf. This is a senior leadership position within a top-level organisation known for delivering complex, high-value facilities for global clients.
 

You will direct all project phases—design, procurement, construction, quality, commercial and EHS—to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery. This role suits a high-calibre PM with strong MEP/CSA integration experience and the ability to drive large multidisciplinary teams.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery from design to commissioning
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
• Chair weekly design, progress, EHS and coordination meetings
• Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies across all work fronts
• Implement the project audit plan and close out actions
• Oversee procurement schedules, cost control, and quality performance
• Drive planning, programme adherence, and risk mitigation
• Liaise with client teams to maintain alignment and resolve issues
• Produce weekly project reports and forecasting updates
• Support training, team development, and performance management

Requirements

• Engineering degree or trade qualification
• 10+ years managing large construction or mission-critical projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, CSA coordination, and commissioning
• Proven leadership of large multi-discipline teams
• Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
• Ability to drive standards, deliver under pressure, and lead by example
