Senior CSA Estimator – Data Centres – Portugal – Permanent

A market-leading, international design & build contractor delivering high-value technical projects across Europe is seeking a Senior CSA Estimator to join their growing Portugal-based team. With a robust pipeline of hyperscale data centre projects, this role offers long-term security and a chance to be part of one of the most dynamic sectors in global construction.

You’ll play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, supporting tendering and commercial strategy for major civil, structural, and architectural packages. The company is known for its technical excellence, fast-track project delivery, and collaborative team culture.

The Role:

• Lead and prepare detailed CSA estimates for major data centre builds
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop cost plans and bills of quantities
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and planning teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Engage with supply chain partners, obtain competitive pricing, and benchmark subcontractor quotes
• Participate in client presentations and internal reviews of estimates and commercial strategy
• Identify cost risks and support mitigation through value engineering and design alternatives

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in CSA estimating, ideally in data centre, cleanroom, pharma, or high-tech sectors
• Strong working knowledge of first-principles estimating and budget development
• Comfortable working independently and liaising across pre-construction and project teams
• Experience with CostX, Candy/CCS, or equivalent estimating software
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or Spanish a bonus
• Based in Portugal or open to relocation

💼 Salary & Package:

• Base salary: €100,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + €1,500 net living allowance
