Regional Manager - Data Centre - Netherlands

The chosen candidate will undertake the management of electrical works for significant projects including Data Centres, high-tech manufacturing facilities, and Semi-Conductor Plants. This role, reporting directly to the Operations Director, entails client interaction and overall accountability for multiple ongoing projects as well as future business development.


  • Reporting to both the Operations Director and Division Director.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in project planning, construction sequencing, and critical path analysis.
  • Collaborating with clients and key project stakeholders as needed.
  • Directly engaging with the relevant Director to facilitate business expansion through tendering and negotiation of new contracts.
  • Evaluating tender submissions, preparing valuations, and providing comprehensive reports on them.
  • Cultivating and nurturing client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Assuming overall responsibility for ensuring projects are completed within stipulated timelines and budgets.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant third-level qualification.
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar managerial role, involving the oversight of large teams.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is advantageous.
  • Prior involvement in European projects is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts.
  • Proficiency in client and multiple stakeholder management.
  • Essential IT skills.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities are indispensable.
  • Confidence in presenting to large audiences.
