Regional EHS Manager – Data Centre – Connacht

Salary: €85,000 – €90,000 + Package

We are partnering with a specialist Fire, Security, and IT Solutions provider delivering major construction and mission-critical projects across Europe and Ireland. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a Regional EHS Manager to oversee Environmental, Health & Safety across multiple Data Centre projects in the Connacht region.
 

This role offers the opportunity to lead regional EHS strategy, ensure compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across complex, fast-paced construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic EHS leadership across multiple live data centre projects.
• Establish and maintain consistent safety standards and behavioural safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health & safety legislation, client requirements, and international best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and governance activities to manage EHS performance.
• Oversee site safety for high-risk activities, including electrical works, heavy lifting, temporary works, and commissioning.
• Act as the senior regional safety representative with clients, project directors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Analyse safety data trends to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant and valid Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH).
• 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects, preferably in Data Centres.
• Strong understanding of EHS compliance, risk management, and site safety systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Based within commutable distance of Connacht.
