Quantity Surveyor – Finland 

Our client is a multi-national construction and engineering organisation. They are headquartered in the USA and active across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, with a turnover in excess of €6bn and 9,000 permanent employees globally. They work across a diverse range of market sectors (with a very heavy tech focus) including: Data Centres, Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, Photovoltaics, Battery Plants & Speciality Chemicals. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works  

The need now exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the delivery team working on a hyper-scale data centre project in Finland 

Duties will include:
Management of all project commercials
Develop and maintain accurate cost reporting /monitoring/forecasting
Identify areas of risk/scope and develop with the project team
Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quants (BoQ)
Monthly progress reports 
Procurement of subcontract works packages
Organise and chair subcontract settlements
Provide support in respect to legal/contract issues associated with the project
Attend post tender/pre-qual interviews and report accordingly

Key experience: 
BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject (ideally)
5 years post qualification construction experience with a main contractor
Strong track record on commercial build projects
Experience of package negotiation
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

In return our client can offer negotiable basic plus full rotational package consisting of housing, car, travel, large mixture of allowances. Rotational pattern of 10/4 (days)
