Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit-Out – London

With a turnover of over £100 million, one of UK’S leading Fit out Contractors with international offices are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Commercial Fit out Projects.

Responsibilities

•    Support Commercial Management Activities:
Work closely with the Senior QS or Commercial Manager to maintain accurate cost tracking, assist with project forecasting, and contribute to financial reporting across multiple high-value fit-out projects.
•    Assist in Procurement & Package Management:
Contribute to the procurement process by preparing tender documentation, analysing subcontractor quotations, and supporting contract award recommendations in line with programme requirements.
•    Preparation of Valuations & Payment Applications:
Compile and submit interim valuations and applications for payment, ensuring timely invoicing and supporting the verification of subcontractor accounts.
•    Change Management Support:
Assist in the identification, valuation, and negotiation of variations and change orders, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure contractual compliance.
•    Ensure Commercial Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date commercial records, support the preparation of cost reports, and help monitor adherence to D&B contract obligations and internal procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Ideal Candidate will be available within a month
Must have previous experience working within fast-track Commercial Fit out Projects D&B valued between £5-£10 Million

Benefits

£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
