QA/QC Electrical Manager – Data Centres & Critical Infrastructure – London
An established UK contractor delivering mission-critical projects across London and the South East is hiring an experienced QA/QC Electrical Manager to oversee quality compliance and installation integrity on a major high-tech infrastructure programme.
Known for engineering excellence, this firm offers a strong pipeline of large-scale data centre and infrastructure builds for global technology clients. The business maintains a sharp focus on quality, innovation, and delivery, providing the tools and autonomy for experienced professionals to lead with confidence.
This is a permanent, full-time, site-based role suited to someone with a strong electrical background and demonstrable QA/QC leadership experience in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical QA/QC across full project lifecycle—installation, testing, inspection, and handover
Define and maintain ITPs, inspection checklists, and QA systems aligned to BS, ISO, and client standards
Supervise electrical QC activities including LV systems, switchgear, containment, UPS, and BMS
Manage redlines, punch lists, QA reports, and technical documentation for compliance and client delivery
Liaise closely with site managers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to support integrated quality delivery
Conduct internal audits and inspections to drive continuous improvement and identify root causes
Ensure all electrical works are carried out to industry-leading safety and compliance standards
Report on quality metrics to senior management and provide input to system improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
Electrical engineering background – degree, diploma, or trade-qualified
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QA/QC or electrical installation supervision role
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, cable containment, distribution panels, switchgear, UPS, and associated testing procedures
Experienced with ISO 9001, BS 7671 (18th Edition), and electrical commissioning standards
Skilled in reporting, NCR management, redline documentation, and QA audits
Comfortable leading quality processes on fast-paced, technically complex builds
Located within commuting distance to London or willing to relocate
