As part of their continued growth across mainland Europe, the company is now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Data Centre delivery team in Frankfurt, Germany, supporting the commercial management of a major new-build hyperscale data centre project.
This is a permanent, full-time position ideally suited to candidates already based in Germany who are looking to develop their career with a leading international contractor delivering high-value, technically advanced projects.
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of the project, supporting the Commercial Manager in all aspects of cost control, contract administration, and procurement. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to the overall commercial success of the project.
Review and interpret contract documentation to understand project scope and commercial obligations.
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier tender packages.
Draft and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
Monitor project progress and manage change control, including the preparation of variations.
Prepare and negotiate interim payment applications with clients.
Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Assist in the preparation of monthly cost reports and forecasts.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall project financial performance.
Support procurement, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, procurement, and site delivery teams.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline—or possess equivalent industry experience.
Minimum of 3–6 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally on large-scale new build construction projects.
Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
Experience working across CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and/or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines.
Confident communicator with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
Must be currently based in Germany or have the right to work there.
