Planner 

Are you an experienced Construction Planner looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a reputable main contractor with a strong portfolio of building projects across Dublin, is seeking a Mid-Level Planner with 5+ years’ experience to join their expanding team in South Dublin.

The Role
As a Planner, you will play a key role in preparing, coordinating, and monitoring project programmes across a range of building projects. This is a predominantly office-based role with regular interaction with project teams, site personnel, and senior management.

Key responsibilities include:
•    Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using industry-standard software
•    Monitoring progress, identifying delays, and advising on mitigation strategies
•    Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure programme adherence
•    Preparing progress reports, schedule updates, and forecast analyses
•    Supporting tender submissions with preliminary programmes and methodology input
•    Reviewing design information and construction methodology to ensure realistic planning
•    Contributing to project meetings and liaising with clients and subcontractors when required
•    
Requirements
•    5+ years’ experience in a planning role within the construction industry
•    A background in building projects with a main contractor (preferred)
•    Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6)
•    Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
•    Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
•    Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
