Mechanical Project Manager – Major Data Centre Project – Copenhagen, Denmark
An internationally recognised MEP contractor is delivering a cutting-edge data centre project in Copenhagen and is now hiring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead key aspects of the mechanical installation, coordination, and delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a technically complex package on a live hyperscale development, working closely with the client and senior stakeholders to drive performance, safety, and quality from pre-construction through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead coordination, planning, and installation of all mechanical systems in line with project scope and client specifications.
Review and manage technical documentation, IFC drawings, and ensure full compliance with design and standards.
Oversee BIM and installation coordination, ensuring accurate RFIs and deliverable alignment.
Manage subcontractors and direct labour teams, tracking performance, progress, and schedule compliance.
Ensure QA/QC and health & safety systems are established, maintained, and enforced throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Control labour, materials, equipment, and variations while ensuring commercial accountability and value engineering.
Track project KPIs, produce weekly progress and risk reports, and drive issue resolution.
Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings including planning, safety, commissioning, and client coordination sessions.
Support commissioning, handover documentation, and close-out activities including O&M manuals and QA files.
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
