Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centre – Sweden

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager join our team. This position will be based on-site in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Responsibilities

•   Project Leadership – Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical works, from planning and design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
•   Stakeholder Coordination – Act as the primary interface for mechanical systems between the client, design consultants, subcontractors, and the main contractor team to ensure alignment on technical requirements and delivery timelines.
•   Programme & Cost Control – Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets for mechanical packages, proactively managing risks, delays, and cost variances.
•   Quality & Compliance Management – Ensure all mechanical installations meet Swedish building regulations, international data centre standards, and the client’s specifications, while enforcing robust quality assurance procedures.
•   Health, Safety & Sustainability Oversight – Drive a strong safety culture on-site and integrate sustainable practices into mechanical delivery, supporting the project’s environmental and energy efficiency targets.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 10+ years experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
