Hyperscale Data Centre, Finland 

Our client is a €1.3bn+ main contractor delivering state-of-the-art data centres across Northern and Central Europe. Known for their turnkey delivery model—from design through to commissioning—they’re expanding fast (10–15% growth annually). They’re now building a €500m+ hyperscale facility in Finland and need a Mechanical Package Manager to lead the mechanical delivery on-site.

The Role:
You’ll take full responsibility for managing all mechanical packages—HVAC, pipework, plant, and more—across the project. From procurement through commissioning, you’ll ensure quality, coordination, and programme alignment while managing subcontractors and integrating mechanical systems seamlessly with the wider project.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of mechanical packages on-site
Oversee subcontractor performance, programme adherence, and QA/QC
Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, structural, and architectural elements
Review technical submittals, design drawings, and specifications
Interface with BIM and design teams to resolve issues efficiently
Lead mechanical commissioning efforts and support system handover
Track progress, manage variations, and support commercial reporting
Uphold safety and compliance standards across all mechanical workstreams

Ideal Candidate:
5+ years of mechanical package management experience on major builds
Previous data centre or complex MEP project exposure preferred
Degree in mechanical/building services engineering or trade background
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
