Mechanical Package Manager – Data Centre – Frankfurt

We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a €50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities

Pipework & Public Health Package Oversight:
Take full ownership of the delivery of all mechanical pipework and public health systems (CHW, LTHW, domestic water, soil & waste, above-ground drainage), ensuring execution aligns with specifications, programme milestones, and quality benchmarks.
Technical Coordination & Installation Sequencing:
Collaborate closely with BIM coordinators, design consultants, and other trades to ensure coordinated routing, clash-free installation, and integration with other systems — particularly in congested plant and corridor zones.
Procurement & Supply Chain Management:
Oversee procurement of key materials and prefabricated pipework assemblies, working with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery, compliance with spec, and alignment with the installation sequence and just-in-time logistics strategy.
QA/QC & System Sign-Off:
Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures for all pipework and PH installations, from bracketry and supports through to flushing, pressure testing, and witnessing. Drive system handover readiness in line with commissioning requirements.
Team Management & Progress Reporting:
Lead supervisors and foremen across multiple areas, monitoring daily and weekly progress, identifying potential delays, and reporting to the senior project and commercial teams. Ensure resources and materials are aligned with programme needs.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background
Must have 5+ years’ experience on Data Centre construction or similar large scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany

Benefits

€90,000 - €95,000 + Full Rotational Package
