€85,000-90,000 DOE + Package

We are assisting an established and rapidly growing engineering services contractor in their search for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer in Malmo, Sweden. The company is focused in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection division and also offers additional top notch services that includes Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Specialist Lift, Off Site Fabrication, Technical Support Services, Maintenance, Asset Management, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures & schedules for mechanical systems together with project stakeholders & engineering team.

  • Perform the functional testing and calibration of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, BAS instrumentation, and other equipment, to validate their practicality and effectiveness.

  • Identify issues, errors or deficiencies that may arise during the commissioning process and formulate reliable solutions.

  • Track accurate and detailed documentation/records of commissioning procedures, test results, and system performance.

  • Prepare accurate commissioning reports for review and delivery to clients, regulatory agencies and project stakeholders.

  • Communicate with clients throughout the commissioning process, providing updates and addressing inquiries to ensure client satisfaction with the final deliverables.

  • Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers and stakeholders to ensure absolute inclusion of mechanical systems within the overall project.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience in commissioning mechanical systems for industrial or commercial projects is an advantage

  • Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.

  • Mastery with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols.

  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials & construction methods.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites when needed.
