Logistics Manager | London | £300 Per Day (Contract)

Rate: Up to £300 per day (contract basis)

This Company is a dynamic main contractor operating across London’s high-end commercial and refurbishment sector. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a major site in central London on a contract basis. The role will oversee all logistics operations, material movements and site access schemes to support efficient delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute site logistics strategy: deliveries, storage, traffic management, and waste removal.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material flows.
• Manage access points, hoarding, cranes, vehicle movement and ensure minimal disruption.
• Monitor and maintain logistics documentation including delivery schedules, permits, records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures in material handling, storage and vehicle management.
• Liaise with client, supply chain and site team for seamless site set-up and turnover.

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on commercial construction projects in London.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple logistics streams under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Familiarity with site traffic management plans, compound layout, deliveries in constrained London environment.
• SMSTS, CSCS (or equivalent) and valid UK driving licence preferred.
