We are assisting an established, rapidly expanding and very busy contractor involved in projects with data centre, pharmaceutical, healthcare & commercial project sectors in their search for an experienced & proactive Senior Logistics Manager to join their team in Central London. As a Senior Logistics Manager, you ideally have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of logistics management and proven track record in optimising supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Manage the strategic logistic plans & initiative to optimise supply chain effectivity and cost control.
Team up with senior management to align logistics strategies with overall goals & objectives.
Track and supervise the movement of materials and logistics labour on site.
Oversee the deliveries & receivables inbound or outbound and transport mode selection.
Attend meetings as required and contribute to the best of your knowledge.
Supervise the correct handling of materials on site.
Ensure timely and accurate orders/ deliveries.
Identify any risks/issues that the logistics process may encounter and present reliable solutions or alternatives.
Manage and record the company’s plant and assets.
Proven track record in supply chain/logistics or related field.
6+ years in a similar role.
Proven knowledge in logistics principles, practices and technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership & interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable in logistics softwares & tools.
