Lifting Manager – Data Centres – Finland Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of Data Centre construction projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works Responsibilities • Oversee Lifting Operations & Safety Compliance Requirements NPORS N401 (Appointed Person – Lifting Operations) qualification, or an equivalent recognised for lifting operations in Finland and Europe Benefits €90,000 - €100,000 + Overseas Package
The need now exists for an experienced Lifting Manager to join the team working on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre new build scheme in Finland.
Take full responsibility for planning, supervising, and executing all lifting operations on site, ensuring compliance with EU lifting regulations, site safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate Daily Site Activities
Lead the daily coordination of construction activities across multiple trades, ensuring sequencing of works aligns with the construction schedule and that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Manage Subcontractors & Site Logistics
Interface with subcontractors, crane suppliers, and logistics teams to manage plant movements, delivery schedules, and crane operations while maintaining strict control over site access and lifting zones.
• Develop Lift Plans & Method Statements
Produce and review detailed lift plans and risk assessments in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring all critical and complex lifts are fully documented and approved in advance.
• Monitor Progress & Report to Site Management
Provide daily and weekly progress updates to the Construction Manager, highlighting potential risks, programme impacts, and resource requirements, while actively driving safe and timely execution of site works.
Must have previous experience as a Lifting Manager or Appointed Person on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Finland
