We are assisting an international multi-disciplinary Top Tier Contractor and leading provider of high-value construction and engineering services in their search for a dedicated Intermediate Engineers to be working in the company's projects in the Midlands of Ireland. The company is focused in operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe and has become the engineering and construction services provider of choice in growth segments such as pharmaceuticals, data centres and power transmission and distribution.
As an Intermediate Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, design and execution of our construction projects. Working closely with project managers, senior engineers and construction teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within the budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Assist in the development of project plans, specifications & engineering designs.
Manage setting out works.
Supervise activities on-site ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and health & safety standards.
Oversee the development of the project to identify any issues and to provide corrective solutions to keep projects on track.
Review documentations, drawings and submittals to ensure accuracy and completeness of the projects.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, construction teams and subcontractors as needed.
Collaborate with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenses and resources.
Degree in civil engineering, construction engineering or related field.
5-7 years of experience in construction engineering.
Knowledge in engineering software and tools.
Excellent communication, teamwork and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of construction methods and processes.
