As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving safe practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting site teams throughout the Midlands. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining health & safety policies and project-specific plans
• Performing regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Providing training, inductions, and toolbox talks for site staff and subcontractors
• Investigating accidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports, and implementing corrective actions
• Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities
• Championing a positive safety culture across the organisation
• Minimum 5 years’ Health & Safety experience within the construction industry
• Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., Nebosh, IOSH, Level 8 H&S degree, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of Irish construction legislation and safety standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence and ability to travel to multiple sites within the Midlands
