Energy Marshall – Data Centres – Sweden

We are currently partnering with an international construction company with operations in Ireland, Germany and Sweden. Their impressive and ever-growing portfolio includes commercial, fit-out, data centres, biopharma, industrial warehousing, retail, residential, healthcare, conservation and education projects. Due to their continued growth, they are actively seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to join their team in Sweden.

Responsibilities

•   Manage all electrical permit-to-work and isolation processes
Act as the authorised person responsible for issuing, controlling and closing electrical permits, ensuring isolations, lockout procedures and switching operations are carried out safely and in line with project protocols.
•   Oversee energisation activities and safe systems of work
Plan and supervise all stages of energisation for LV and MV systems, ensuring compliance with safety rules, manufacturer requirements and mission-critical data centre standards.
•   Coordinate with electrical teams, commissioning engineers and subcontractors
Maintain close communication with site supervisors, commissioning teams and specialist contractors to ensure all electrical works, testing stages and energisation steps are sequenced correctly and performed safely.
•   Conduct inspections, audits and documentation control
Carry out regular audits of electrical work areas, verify isolation points, review method statements and ensure all records, permits, switching logs and safety documentation are accurate and up to date.
•   Provide technical guidance and enforce electrical safety compliance
Deliver briefings, toolbox talks and technical support to ensure all site personnel understand electrical risks, safe work boundaries and project-specific requirements for high-risk energy environments.

Requirements

Must have relevant and recognised HV&LV Authorised person Certificates
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar position on Mission-Critical environment projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
