Role Overview:
As part of their ongoing expansion across mainland Europe, the company is now seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to join their delivery team on a new-build hyperscale data centre project in Portugal.
This is a key site-based role responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of electrical energisation and power-up activities throughout the construction and commissioning phases. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical systems are energised safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project protocols and international standards.

•    Maintain detailed energy management and switching schedules.
•    Supervise and authorise energisation of systems in line with project safety documentation.
•    Work closely with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to meet energisation milestones.
•    Identify and mitigate risks associated with temporary and permanent electrical systems.
•    Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are energised and handed over safely and on schedule.

Key Requirements:
•    Proven experience working as an Energy Marshall, Electrical Authorised Person, or similar role on large-scale industrial or data centre projects.
•    Strong technical understanding of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
•    In-depth knowledge of LOTO procedures, switching operations, and electrical safety protocols.
•    Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple interfaces on a fast-paced project.
•    Relevant electrical engineering qualifications and safety authorisations.
•    Previous experience working on major data centre projects is highly desirable.

In return our client can offer basic salary of €85k - €110k (DOE) plus car, travel, bonus and full package
