Electrical Supervisor Data Centre Project, Cologne, Germany Our client is a leading engineering and construction main contractor delivering major new-build data centre projects across Northern and Central Europe. The company provides a full turnkey solution from initial design and groundworks through to structural build, MEP installation, commissioning and handover. With a turnover of €1.3bn and annual growth of 10–15%, they continue to expand their operations across the region. They are now seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the site delivery team on a €500m+ hyperscale data centre project in Cologne, Germany Key responsibilities include: The ideal candidate will have a degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a strong electrical trade background. They will have at least 5 years of site-based electrical or MEP supervisory experience, ideally including work on hyperscale or mission-critical data centre projects. A competitive salary is offered along with bonus, allowances and an international assignment package suitable for candidates working on rotation or relocating to Cologne
• Supervising electrical subcontractors and monitoring progress against the construction schedule
• Ensuring all electrical works are completed safely and in line with company Health and Safety policies
• Overseeing installation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with design, specifications and project requirements
• Carrying out regular quality inspections of electrical and associated CSA works to ensure installations meet required standards
• Supporting the management of temporary construction power systems to ensure suitability for construction and commissioning activities
• Coordinating with other trades and site teams to ensure work areas are ready and meet required quality standards for beneficial use
• Assisting with technical queries, documentation and information flow to support continuous work progression
• Highlighting sequencing or access issues and contributing to planning discussions to improve programme delivery
• Providing weekly updates on progress, risks and any issues impacting electrical works
