Electrical Site Supervisor - Cork - Ireland

As a Site Electrical Supervisor, you will assume a crucial role in our project development and implementation process, reporting directly to the Projects Manager on all facets of daily site operations. Working closely with the Planning Manager and Project Manager, alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, you will contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge projects.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Ensuring all site operations are conducted in strict compliance with company HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment) requirements and standards.
  • Daily management, supervision, and reporting on direct labor resources, equipment, safe work execution, and material allocations.
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors on-site.
  • Conducting post-construction surveys and compiling accurate data to prepare As-Built records.
  • Executing company compliance and administrative procedures, while documenting the performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring that works are carried out to high standards while adhering to building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety, and environmental standards.

This position offers exposure to various industries, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, construction, and others. The successful candidate will receive support in enhancing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.

Skills and Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a site leadership role within the Pharma/Life Science sectors, with a strong emphasis on Safety and Quality.
  • Completion of at least Level 6 of the QQI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or its equivalent.
  • Completion of the Electrical Verification & Certification course with a Qualified Certifier (QC) number would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical knowledge with practical application.
  • High level of computer literacy.
