Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre Construction – Copenhagen, Denmark
A leading international engineering contractor is delivering a high-profile data centre project in Copenhagen and is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of the electrical package and lead successful project delivery.
This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep technical knowledge and a proven track record managing complex installations in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for electrical systems delivery on a large-scale data centre project, ensuring high standards in performance, safety, and technical compliance.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across procurement, planning, and installation to meet demanding client requirements.
Interface with client representatives, managing expectations, performance metrics, and reporting structures throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop detailed schedules in collaboration with planners, ensuring resource allocation is accurate and work is sequenced for optimal delivery.
Monitor quality and safety throughout, promoting a “zero rework” mindset and ensuring alignment with commissioning milestones.
Lead internal teams and external subcontractors, ensuring all electrical works—including UPS, generators, busbar systems, and LV distribution—are installed, tested, and handed over successfully.
Play a central role in live environment planning and permitting, ensuring critical systems remain protected during construction phases.
Requirements:
Trade or third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years in project management roles, ideally within data centre or high-spec industrial projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate large teams across multiple disciplines.
Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems integration.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, planning, and managing works in live environments.
Familiar with quality systems, risk control, and technical compliance procedures.
