Electrical Lead – Hyperscale Data Centre – Sweden

This is a career-defining opportunity for an Electrical Lead to play a key role in the delivery of a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Sweden. You will be part of a high-performing, international team, working on a project that is setting the standard for efficiency, sustainability, and advanced technology.

 

Key Requirements

  • 3rd Level Building Services / Electrical Engineering Degree and/or relevant trade qualification.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a site-based MEP role, ideally within large-scale projects.
  • Previous experience working on hyperscale data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office and project planning software.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and collaboration skills.
  • A strong personal commitment to Health & Safety leadership and promoting a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and aligning electrical activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Acting as a safety champion, ensuring Health & Safety remains central to all decisions and project execution.
  • Identifying and managing hazardous energy sources, implementing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) strategies.
  • Tracking electrical systems and equipment installations for compliance with specifications and programme requirements.
  • Supporting the development and execution of Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs).
  • Conducting quality inspections of electrical and CSA works, driving excellence across all deliverables.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure sufficient information and resources are in place to meet key milestones.
  • Reviewing master schedules to identify sequencing improvements and acceleration opportunities.
  • Managing temporary power systems for ongoing construction and commissioning needs.
  • Chairing stakeholder meetings and providing leadership in key project forums.
  • Producing weekly progress and cost reports for senior leadership teams.
  • Managing subcontractor activities, tracking progress against manpower and programme.

Safety Leadership

  • Model safe behaviours and promote a strong safety-first culture.
  • Prioritize safety over productivity in every decision made.
  • Provide clear safety communication and training to all team members.
  • Recognize and reward safe working practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards.
  • Drive a culture where safety is a shared value among all stakeholders.
