A leading European contractor specialising in high-tech data centre builds across the Nordics is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to take charge of electrical systems delivery on a major hyperscale project in Sweden.
This contractor is recognised for delivering complex, fast-track builds for top-tier global tech clients and offers long-term opportunities within one of Europe’s most exciting construction sectors: mission-critical infrastructure.
This is a full-time, site-based leadership position for an electrically focused professional with strong coordination and execution experience on large-scale or technically intensive projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all electrical installation works on-site, from initial fit-out to final commissioning support.
Manage subcontractor teams to ensure programme, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved.
Liaise with construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Review, verify, and track electrical drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation.
Run daily coordination meetings, technical reviews, and progress briefings.
Ensure all works meet local electrical codes, client specifications, and internal QA/QC standards.
Maintain and promote a safety-first mindset across all site operations.
Assist with testing, inspections, and energisation in partnership with commissioning teams.
Candidate Requirements:
Electrical qualification – degree, diploma, or trade-certified background.
Minimum 5 years' experience in an electrical lead or supervisory role on complex construction projects – data centre experience is a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of MV/LV systems, UPS, switchgear, cable containment, and power distribution.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical design documents.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; prior experience in the Nordic region is a plus.
Must be based in or open to relocating to Sweden – accommodation and travel assistance provided.
