Electrical Lead – Hyperscale Data Centre Project – Norway
A prominent European contractor with a strong track record in delivering complex data centre projects across the Nordics is seeking a highly capable Electrical Lead to manage electrical systems installation on a major hyperscale development in Norway.
With an expanding pipeline of mission-critical projects, this company offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art facilities for global tech clients—while leading a high-performing team on one of the most technical builds in the region.
This is a site-based, full-time leadership role suited to an experienced electrical professional who thrives in fast-paced, precision-driven environments.
Your Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire electrical scope on site — from containment and cabling to energisation and commissioning handover.
Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate daily site activities to ensure milestones are met.
Review electrical layouts, cable schedules, panel drawings, and technical submittals for compliance and constructability.
Work alongside construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to deliver fully integrated electrical systems.
Lead toolbox talks, coordination meetings, and site briefings.
Ensure adherence to Norwegian electrical regulations, client specifications, and internal standards.
Champion safety culture and drive accountability across electrical installation teams.
Support pre-commissioning, testing, and final inspections.
Your Background:
Qualified in electrical engineering, building services, or certified trade equivalent.
At least 5 years' experience in a senior electrical site role on large-scale or mission-critical builds (data centre experience preferred).
Strong technical understanding of LV/MV power systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and distribution systems.
Capable of leading subcontractors, managing interfaces, and driving quality on complex packages.
Comfortable reading and interpreting detailed electrical drawings and specs.
English fluency essential; experience in Norway or the Nordics is a plus.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Norway – travel and accommodation support is provided.
