A well-established European contractor specialising in large-scale, high-tech data centre projects is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to take responsibility for the electrical delivery on a major hyperscale site in Finland.

This is a permanent, site-based role suited to a senior electrical professional with hands-on leadership experience in complex, large-scale environments such as data centres, pharmaceutical plants, or industrial builds.
Role Overview:
Lead all aspects of electrical system delivery from installation through to final commissioning support.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely execution to the highest standards.
Collaborate closely with site construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
Oversee and validate technical documentation including drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and as-builts.
Drive weekly planning meetings, site walkdowns, and issue resolution.
Ensure all systems comply with Finnish electrical regulations, project specs, and internal quality protocols.
Foster a proactive safety culture across all electrical site teams.
Support energisation, inspections, and functional testing alongside the commissioning lead.
Candidate Profile:
Electrically qualified – degree, diploma, or recognised trade certification.
5+ years’ experience in an electrical lead, supervisor, or package manager role on major construction projects.
Strong technical expertise in low and medium voltage systems, UPS, switchgear, cable routing, and containment systems.
Confident reviewing technical documents, electrical layouts, and installation details.
Proven team leadership and coordination ability across multiple subcontractors.
Fluent English required; prior experience in the Nordics is beneficial.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Finland – full travel and accommodation support available.
