Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Viborg, Denmark | €800 Per Day + Rotation, Accommodation & Travel

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join a leading data centre consultancy on a long-term contract in Viborg, Denmark. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of Europe’s most high-profile hyperscale data centre projects, delivering critical commissioning and client-side assurance for a global technology client.

As part of a specialist consultancy team, you’ll oversee and validate all aspects of electrical commissioning, ensuring systems meet stringent safety, performance, and compliance standards. This role suits engineers with strong technical knowledge of LV/MV systems and a proven background in data centre commissioning or client-representative roles.

Role Details:

• Location: Viborg, Denmark
• Rate: €800 per day + travel and accommodation
• Requirement: Must hold an EU passport

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and witness commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, and generators.
• Validate commissioning documentation, test scripts, and compliance with design specifications.
• Interface with construction, QA/QC, and client teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to project safety protocols and technical standards.
• Provide technical input to the commissioning programme and track system readiness.

About You:

• 5+ years’ commissioning experience on data centre, industrial, or large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, testing, and validation procedures.
• Client-facing experience with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.
