EHS Advisor- Dublin 

To €65,000 DOE + Package  

Our client, an established engineering services contractor involved in complex technical projects across Europe, primarily involved in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centres with core division that includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection is now actively seeking for experienced EHS Advisor. As EHS Advisor you are responsible for ensuring that the company's environmental, health, and safety standards are met and maintained by developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs and policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.  

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:    

  • Support the EHS Manager in maintaining and implementing the EHS standards & legislations promoting a safe working environment. 

  • Conduct site inspections / audits and report findings to the project EHS Manager.  

  • Knowledgeable in updated EHS issues, trends and develop strategies to address them proactively.  

  • Proactively join the active development of the EHS culture and the management systems.  

  • Support in delivering Health and Safety Inductions, and weekly Toolbox Talks.  

  • Implement EHS best practices including identifying training needs and reporting it to the EHS Manager. 

  • Oversee & record investigations of accidents and incidents and analyse causes and implement preventive measures.  

  • Work closely with EHS Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, and record and document all relevant EHS issues on site.  

  • Participate in activity briefings and whiteboard meetings including chairing safety meetings with subcontractors. 

  • Degree/qualifications in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.  

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within construction. 

  • Effective communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in EHS software and tools.
