Your Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be tasked with coordinating all aspects of the design process, from initial stages to completion. Your primary focus will involve closely collaborating with BIM Technicians and Design Managers to coordinate all design aspects of the project. Additionally, you will be expected to manage stakeholders and ensure delivery meets expectations. Your duties will include

Understanding the main contract conditions and the general contractor offer document as they relate to the complete design process, including:

  • Appointment and notation of designers
  • Appointment of contractors
  • Design and/or CDP responsibilities
  • BIM & digital delivery responsibilities
  • Change process and time bars
  • Submittal and drawing approval responsibilities
  • Client KPIs relating to design
  • Client design standards
  • Coordinating all areas of design on the project, including BIM & Digital (Design and Coordination) and Information Management functions.
  • Collaborating closely with the HSE team to ensure coordination across all design functions.
  • Monitoring and reporting on design progress against the Design and BIM schedule.
  • Supporting the change process alongside the commercial function and administering all changes involving design.
  • Maintaining awareness of all relevant codes and legislation for the project in relation to design.
  • Having a good understanding of the code and legislation requirements pertinent to the project's location and nature.
  • Possessing a relevant understanding of the GC Design Standards / Guides.
  • Demonstrating behaviors and day-to-day activities that align with the values.
