€60,000- €85,000 DOE + Full Package Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of Data Centre construction projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction, and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works. The need now exists for an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor for new build Hyper-Scale Data Centre projects in Groningen, Netherlands. As CSA Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the cost management of civil, structural, and architectural aspects of Data Centre projects including cost estimation, contract management, and financial oversight to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Prepare detailed CSA cost estimates and budgets for pre-construction, including labour, materials, and provide accurate cost forecasts and financial projections to support project planning and decision-making. Review and manage contracts and subcontracts, ensuring that all parties adhere to contractual terms and conditions. Manage contract negotiations, variations, and claims, and resolve any issues that arise. Monitor and control project costs as directed by the Project Director, tracking expenditures, and ensuring they align with the approved budget. Prepare regular CSA financial reports to CSA Estimating Lead and to the Directors including cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account statements providing detailed analysis of financial performance. Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors ensuring that procurement activities are carried out in a cost-effective and compliant manner. Work with the project team to identify & address any financial challenges that may impact project delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for financial and contractual matters with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management or related field. 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying within CSA, preferably in Data Centre projects. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, contract management, and cost control methods. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial and contractual matters. Proficient in Quantity Surveying software and tools.
