Our company is currently recruiting an experienced CSA Cost Manager to be working in Berlin, Germany involved in Data Centre, Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Sport and Retail clients and projects committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Present accurate cost estimates & budgets for CSA systems based on project drawings, specifications & other important considerations.

  • Communicate with project stakeholders to establish cost targets and ensure alignment with overall project budgets.

  • Develop construction methods to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining project requirements.

  • Help in tendering and procurement process including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids & negotiating contracts with suppliers & subcontractors.

  • Make sure that procurement decisions are based on cost- effectiveness, quality and reliability.

  • Verify and keep track on project costs throughout the project lifecycle, tracking expenditures, analysing deficiencies and implementing corrective actions to ensure budgetary constraints are followed.

  • Prepare regular cost reports & provide project stakeholders with timely updates on project financial performance.

  • Oversee changes to scope, specifications, and requirements, assessing the impact on project costs and schedules, and documenting changes through change orders and variations.

  • Negotiate change orders with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure fair and equitable resolution of cost-related issues.

  • Proactively address risks and issues to prevent cost overruns and delays.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or related field.

  • Proven track record in Cost Manager role.

  • Experience in CSA, Data Centre, Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Sport and Retail contracts is beneficial.

  • MRICS or other related professional body membership.

  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within budget and schedule.

  • Strong verbal & written communication and problem solving skills.

  • Proficiency in cost management softwares and tools.
