BIM Engineer - Netherlands - Data Centre
As a BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of our projects. Working closely with Project Team Leads and a diverse team of engineers and industry experts, you will contribute to the delivery of innovative projects. There may be occasional site visits required for our projects based in Netherlands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating virtual models for specific design disciplines.
- Generating detailed 3D BIM models tailored to meet project requirements and client needs.
- Ensuring model adherence to the standards and objectives outlined in the BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
- Collaborating and coordinating internally and externally to incorporate design changes into the model.
- Developing discipline-specific BIM modeling content.
- Producing accurate construction drawings and extracting data from the BIM platform relevant to the discipline.
- Coordinating design documentation utilizing BIM software and tools effectively.
- Conducting coordination and clash tests on MEP services using Navisworks.
- Attending meetings as required.
- Configuring additional Revit families and templates.
- Modeling supports for M&E services.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Revit (MEP installations) and Navisworks.
- Experience in data center projects is advantageous, showcasing your knowledge of industry best practices and technologies.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems is required.
- Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and personal development.
