BIM Coordinator – Data Centre Project – Netherlands
A leading international construction contractor delivering complex, high-value data centre and mission-critical infrastructure across Europe is seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join its expanding team on a major data centre project in the Netherlands.
This is a permanent role offering exposure to industry-leading digital delivery, model-based coordination, and 4D construction planning. The ideal candidate will have strong BIM Level 2 experience, technical model review capabilities, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the pre-construction team by reviewing tender documents (Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify BIM and digital delivery requirements.
Carry out technical analysis of 3D BIM models at tender stage for federation, clash detection, and engineering compliance.
Support the preparation and coordination of BIM documentation including BEP, MIDP, MPDT, and ensure responsibilities are clearly communicated across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with planners to develop and deliver 4D BIM sequencing and logistics strategies using federated models.
Create and coordinate visualisations, logistics simulations, and interactive 3D environments for stakeholder engagement.
Co-lead DPD (Digital Project Delivery) strategy meetings with the Information Manager and project teams.
Mentor BIM Engineers on workflows, modelling standards, and project delivery strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, computing, or related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience delivering BIM Level 2 projects in a multidisciplinary construction environment.
Strong working knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, and rendering tools such as Lumion; experience with 4D BIM is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering BIM execution plans and digital project documentation.
Strong communication and organisational skills; confident working across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to manage digital records and workflows effectively.
