Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Islington – Commercial

We are currently partnering with a renowned Landscaping specialist with national presence across a number of sectors in the UK. They have delivered successfully across both the public and private sectors and are looking to expand their team further with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Islington.

Responsibilities

•    Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions for a range of commercial landscaping projects across Islington.
•    Support the management of subcontractor packages, including issuing enquiries, evaluating quotes, and assisting with order placement and payment processing.
•    Monitor project costs and valuations, updating internal cost reports and assisting in the preparation of applications for payment and final accounts.
•    Contribute to the change control process, helping to assess variations and compile supporting documentation for client submission.
•    Work closely with the project and site teams, ensuring commercial and contractual best practices are followed and supporting project delivery from start to finish.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have previous commercial experience on landscaping projects
Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 1+ years’ post qualification experience

Benefits

£35,000 - £45,000 + Package
