Our clients a leading multi disciplinary consultancy require a senior office administrator and business development professional to work within a busy team based in Manchester offices. Your responsibilities would include managing administrative workflow for Civil, Structural and Geotechnical office. Exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of role and providing administrative support. Prior experience of working with a Construction preferably consulting environment with the experience of some business development would be advantageous.
Other tasks include general management of the office including Health and Safety procedure adherence. Project archive, management of electronic and paper copy document retrieval. Implementation of Quality Assurance control checks for auditing purposes. Act as liaison with ancillary departments (i.e. facilities, mailroom, equipment repair, payroll etc.). Handling space planning for the admin department. Initiating and co-ordinating office clear out and improvement of current processes. Assisting with tender proposals, presentations, reports, ensuring formatting is correct and that all relevant information is included before issuing to client. Petty cash management, staff meeting minutes, raising and authorising purchase orders. Handle industry related medical tests and training courses for all staff. Setting up new projects on customer data system (CRM) through company portal etc., ensuring all information posted is accurate and allocations are correct
