Sector: Construction | Job Type: Permanent | Salary: £50 - 60K or £300 -350 a day
Title: Senior QS–Sub-Contractor-Long Term Opportunity– Invoice LTD or PAYE,
Salary: £50 - 60K or £300 -350 a day,
My client is a specialist sub-contractor who operate within interior fit out. They focus on dry lining, partitions and all forms of ceilings. They have a turnover of £40M and specialise in high end commercial fit out projects. As yearend approaches, they have £20M worth of new projects about to hit and they therefore require an additional Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
My client has a beautiful new office in the Bromley area, with free parking. They have a pool table and games room, with a big open plan kitchen and break out area. This mirrors their open and friendly culture. In addition, they have a big warehouse facility at the same site, which allows them to stock pile all the materials they need (preventing delivery delays) and also allows them to showcase mock ups / prototypes which they can present to their tier one main contracting clients.I recently went for a meeting at my client’s office and even being a recruiter on the dark side, I was greeted with a warm welcome and good banter.
My client is ideally looking for a strong Project Surveying who is emerging or wanting to develop in to a Senior Surveyor. The only essential my client is looking for in this role, is experience within dry lining, partitions and ceilings. Due to the dynamic nature of their culture they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with three to nine years of experience. My client wants the Quantity Surveyor to be out and about on site, in the thick of projects; to build relationships with their current clients by taking them out for beers and dinner. You will be required to visit the office during the working week, so it’s important to them you live within a reasonable distance as they have a real work life balance culture.
My client is (ideally) looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can run a job up to £5M.This opportunity is a long-term career role; with an understanding of the competitiveness of the market they are happy to pay PAYE or direct through your limited company, but please note this is not freelance. They want people for the long-haul and will reward you for your loyalty and commercial success.
My client wants to see some previous loyalty on your CV.If this sounds like you, give me a ring and I will run you through all the details.
