My client is a large European sub-contractor who specialise in design, supply and installation of interior fit out systems with a focus on commercial projects. The sub-contracting fit out business unit within London now has an annual turnover of £28M, with project values ranging in size from £1 – 10M. Due to a recent promotion within the business, the need now exists for a Project Manager to run a £7M fit out job in London. The £7M fit out project in London includes but is not limited to, the installation of architectural glass and glazing, raised access floor, balustrading with glass partitions, heated and chilled ceiling systems, with all associated HVAC and joinery installation. •My client requires a sub-contractors Project Manager to effectively bring about all trades on site, ensuring health and safety is adhered to without compromising the project programme
My client requires a Project Manager with a high level of proven organisational skills to ensure that they produce a daily report with regular progress reports. Project Managers will also be responsible for ensuring the procurements of materials and labour is completed with a balanced overview of the budget and costs.Project Managers must be able to manage multiple platforms within the construction process in order to ensure all stakeholders in the project are fully informed on the project. Project Manager must note, log and raise any change orders, design issues or variations on the project.Project Managers will be strong at managing relationships with large main contractors and have robust personality to oversee the main contractor
My client is seeking a Project Manager who can hit the ground running and so a background in sub-contracting management is imperative. Project Managers can come from a background in joinery, dry lining or ceiling fit out background In return my client can offer a salary of £60 -65K + Package, plus 28 days’ holiday per year, plus ‘flexi time scheme’ which can be used to accrue additional days of leave.
