Sales Manager – Basement Excavation, Conversion and Construction

Job Title: Sales Manager – Basement Excavation, Conversation and Construction Industry

Sector: High end B2C end users: high net worth property owners, home owners, Oligarchs, underground; swimming pools, houses, cinema rooms, gym’s etc

Area to be covered: Greater London

The role of the Sales Manager

Basement Excavation, Conversion and Construction will involve:

·Field sales role selling a premium / high end structural basement projects (typical projects include swimming pools, cinema rooms, play rooms, gym’s etc) ·Minimum project size of £275,000, going up to £2m

·Typical project lifecycle is circa nine months

·Following up inbound enquiries via the telephone, website and word of mouth

·Covering an area inside the M25, high end projects typically around Kensington, Chelsea etc, medium sized projects in Chiswick, Wandsworth etc

·Following up on enquires with a face to face meeting at the customers property, conducting basic survey / measuring, before working up a quote utilising the in-house pricing department

·Following preliminary estimate through all planning requirements to produce a final estimate

·Typically you will spend 50% of your time in our clients west London based office and 50% of your time on the road selling

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager Basement Excavation, Conversion and Construction with:

·Ability to sell a premium high end building project and influence high net worth individuals

·Comfortable getting on the phone to follow up on inbound enquiries

·Excellent communication skills

·Field sales track record, ability to close sales

·Daily access throughout Greater London

·Any understanding on civil engineering work, structural engineering, groundwork, structure of swimming pools, houses is ideal although not essential

·Outgoing personality; forward thinking, dynamic, motivated and committed

·Computer literate

·Ability to conduct basic measuring and surveys

·Willingness to learn, with the ability to gain strong technical know how quickly
