Quality Manager – Cleanrooms – Sunderland We are currently Partnering with a High-Growth, Market Leader in the Modular Cleanroom Design for the Biopharmaceutical sector. Demonstrating success across the UK and EMEA, they are currently seeking a Quality Manager to help further develop their growth. Lead all quality management activities across cleanroom construction projects, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 14644, and client-specific standards. Implement robust QA/QC processes to guarantee the delivery of high-specification cleanroom environments.
Develop and Maintain Quality Management Systems:
Establish, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure all procedures, documentation, and practices meet internal policies, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Conduct Site Audits and Inspections:
Perform regular site audits, inspections, and quality checks to verify construction and installation works meet design intent and specification. Identify non-conformances, manage root cause analysis, and oversee implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and subcontractors to embed quality from design through to commissioning. Provide guidance and training to project teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time delivery.
Manage Project Quality Documentation and Handover:
Prepare, review, and maintain project-specific quality documentation including ITPs, method statements, material certifications, and final turnover dossiers. Ensure accurate records are maintained for client handover and audit readiness.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be based within a commutable distance of Sunderland
