Mechanical Supervisor – Hyperscale Data Centre – Amsterdam, Netherlands
 

€85,000 – €90,000 base salary (local contract) + €1,200/month net living allowance + Flights + Accommodation + Rotation
 

A leading European contractor delivering major hyperscale data centres is looking to appoint a Mechanical Supervisor to join a flagship build in Amsterdam. With over 500 MW of IT load under construction across Europe, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking for long-term progression in the mission-critical space.
 

This role offers stability, technical challenge, and a chance to work with a highly regarded delivery team in one of Europe’s busiest data centre hubs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out toolbox talks and weekly progress/issue reporting
• Manage and coordinate daily mechanical site activities and sequencing with other trades
• Ensure labour, materials, and plant are planned, tracked, and quality-checked
• Maintain site safety, compliance, and high-quality installation standards
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure delivery aligns with programme milestones
• Monitor and certify equipment, access systems, and materials as per specs
• Identify risks, delays, and site variations, reporting them to the construction manager
• Keep detailed records of delivery progress, issues, and resolutions

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ experience supervising mechanical packages in a construction environment
• Experience with mechanical systems in data centres, pharma, or high-tech builds preferred
• Proactive, hands-on leader who can manage subcontractors and track quality/safety
• Confident reporting to project management and liaising with site-wide teams
• Comfortable with fast-paced, rotation-based European delivery
• Clear communicator with a safety-first, solutions-focused mindset
