We are now seeking an experienced M&E Design Manager to join the team on a high-profile pharmaceutical construction project based in Surrey. The successful candidate will take ownership of the M&E design process, coordinating between the client, design consultants, and site delivery teams to ensure all mechanical and electrical systems are fully integrated and compliant with project requirements.
• Lead and manage the M&E design process from concept through to construction and handover.
• Coordinate design information between consultants, contractors, and the site team.
• Ensure designs meet pharmaceutical standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Review and manage BIM models, ensuring accurate coordination of services.
• Drive design efficiency and value engineering while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Attend design and coordination meetings, providing technical guidance and solutions.
• Proven experience in M&E design management within large, complex construction projects.
• Previous experience working on pharmaceutical or life science facilities preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Excellent BIM skills, with the ability to coordinate and review multidisciplinary models.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
