Pharmaceutical Construction – Surrey

Our client is a leading European MEP subcontractor, delivering major mechanical and electrical packages on complex, high-technology projects across Europe — including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science facilities, as well as Battery and Semiconductor Plants.

Role Overview:
We are now seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join the delivery team on a significant pharmaceutical construction scheme in Surrey. This role will combine hands-on BIM coordination and management with design oversight responsibilities, ensuring seamless integration between digital models, technical design, and site delivery.
The successful candidate will act as a key link between the design consultants, MEP teams, and project management, driving BIM excellence while supporting the design management process throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the BIM process across all M&E disciplines.
Oversee model development, clash detection, and information exchange between stakeholders.
Support the design management process, ensuring M&E designs are fully coordinated and compliant with project and regulatory standards.
Lead BIM coordination meetings and contribute to design workshops.
Ensure all design information is correctly integrated within the BIM environment.
Liaise closely with project, engineering, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.
Champion digital delivery standards, processes, and innovation within the project team.

Key Requirements:
Proven experience in BIM management or coordination within large-scale construction projects.
Strong background in M&E design or design coordination.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 (or equivalent platforms).
Experience working on pharmaceutical or life science projects is highly desirable.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple design and BIM stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of MEP systems and digital construction workflows.

In return our client can offer basic salary of £85k - £90k (DOE) plus car, travel, bonus and full package
