HSE Manager – Steel Plant & Pharmaceutical – Denmark & Sweden We are currently partnering with a multinational Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation services provider with offices across Europe. Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join their team in Copenhagen, Denmark on a pharmaceutical project for around 4 months then move on to their team in Sweden to join a Steel Plant project. Responsibilities Lead Site Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Requirements Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably pharmaceutical or industrial) Benefits €100,000 - €105,000 + Full Rotational Package (including flights, Rotation, Overseas Allowance, Accommodation etc.)
Oversee all HSE activities across the pharma construction project in Denmark, followed by an industrial steel plant project in Sweden, ensuring full compliance with local legislation, company policies, and client standards.
Develop and Implement Project-Specific HSE Plans:
Create and maintain safety management systems, RAMS, environmental controls, and emergency procedures tailored to each project’s unique requirements and regulatory environment.
Conduct Site Inspections, Audits & Incident Investigations:
Perform regular audits and behavioural safety observations, identify risks and non-conformances, and lead thorough incident and near-miss investigations with corrective and preventive actions.
Provide Safety Training and Leadership:
Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing HSE coaching to project teams and subcontractors, promoting a proactive safety culture across multi-national workforces.
HSE Reporting, Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
Produce detailed HSE reports, KPI updates, and client-facing documentation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure learnings are captured and applied across both project phases.
