HSE Manager – Data Centre – Netherlands

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager join our team. This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

•   Lead HSE Operations: Oversee and implement all aspects of the project’s health, safety, and environmental strategy, ensuring full compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
•   Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dutch and EU HSE legislation and ensure the project operates in line with all relevant standards.
•   Incident Management: Manage reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis for all incidents and near misses; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
•   Safety Culture & Training: Drive a positive safety culture across the site through training, engagement, and consistent leadership by example.
•   Environmental Stewardship: Oversee environmental performance, including waste management, emissions monitoring, and sustainable site practices.
•   Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters, liaising effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership teams.

Requirements

Must have relevant Health & Safety qualifications i.e. NEBOSH
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Netherlands
